Golf Campano, formerly San Andrés Golf, is the name of the quiet residential area where it is located. It was once the home of a small English colony who sought out the Costa de la Luz as an ideal place to relax. It opened in 1985 as a 9-hole course, and for twenty years it has remained hidden from golf tourism, known only to local enthusiasts.
